ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Hello, I’m the founder Chris "Captain of Clean" Bergen. I’m proud to be a Vermonter - I revel in opportunities for recreating on Lake Champlain, hiking Camel’s Hump, and swimming in the Huntington river. Communities are important, which is why I am a volunteer EMT with a local backcountry rescue team. Moreover I have a deep sense of pride in the natural beauty of Vermont. This is why I have zero tolerance for business practices that are unnecessarily harsh on our ecosystems.
As an environmental science major at Green Mountain College, I deeply understand the impact harsh chemicals have on the environment, which is why I chose to concoct a mixture of eco-friendly cleaning agents that do not negatively impact the various ecosystems to be found here in Vermont. Also we continue to make more investment in alternative energy to power our operations.
